Listen: Big K.R.I.T. + A$AP Ferg - "Lac Lac"

Big K.R.I.T. offers up some more southern cooking as part of his "Week of K.R.I.T.", a song-a-day offering that runs until Sunday. Here he enlists A$AP Ferg over a mellow, throwback beat. As is the case with most K.R.I.T. jams, cruising windows-down on a smooth night is encouraged. Listen/Download "Lac Lac" below free of charge:

Watch: Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks - "Little Fang"

While altogether sonically different than an Animal Collective track, Avey Tare's "Little Fang" effortlessly exemplifies the frontman's ability to find rhythm in the most peculiar melodies. Also, +1 for the puppet (courtesy of Jim Henson's Creature Shop). Enter The Slasher House is out April 8th via Domino Records. [Directed by Abby Portner]

Watch: The War On Drugs - "Red Eyes"

Lost In The Dream is out March 18th on Secretly Canadian. [Directy by Anthony Zagarella]

De La Soul + J. Dilla - "Dilla Plugged In"

De La Soul deftly drop their definitive and effortless flows, trading bars over a slick J. Dilla beat. The result: wax on wax. Would you expect anything else from this classic pairing? The track is off the upcoming Smell The D.A.I.S.Y. mixtape, featuring exclusive production from the late, great Dilla. Check out "Dilla Plugged In" below.

Watch: Real Estate - The Making Of Atlas

Check out studio footage of Real Estate's recording process for our current frontrunner for album of the year, Atlas (yes, we know it's only March). The band's third LP has been streaming on iTunes for the past week, but is set to release officially today via Domino Records. [Directed by Charles Poekel]

Listen: Evian Christ - "Waterfall"

While fans of Joshua Leary should be no strangers to his hard-hitting, bass driven tracks, it appears as though his progression under the Evian Christ project is leaning towards more chaotic and industrial soundscapes. Unsurprisingly, the self-titled lead single off his upcoming Waterfall EP builds upon the undoubtedly influential work that led to Kanye West's Yeezus, a project in which Leary found himself contributing production. What emerges is an aggressive assault on the ears that represses any notions of Evian Christ's former tranquil beats, leaving a maelstrom of free-flowing and anarchic ideas. Waterfall is out March 17th on Tri Angle.
