Listen: Tobias Jesso Jr. - "True Love"

It's been nearly a year since the release of Tobias Jesso Jr.'s debut single/demo, and it appears he and former Girls bassist-turned-producer Chet "JR" White are nearing closer and closer to a substantial project for the singer-songwriter. With "True Love", Jesso Jr. expounds upon his disconnected bedroom aesthetic that he effortlessly has going for him, relying on a sole piano riff to elevate his vocals into a range of lucidity that prompts a naturally ethereal soundscape. While little is known about the artist, there's an air of undeniable likability in the soft-spoken and honest nature of his short-yet-substantial releases thus far that is refreshing, familiar, and comforting all at once. There is no word on a proper release yet, but listen to "True Love" above.

Watch: Allie X - "Bitch"

The elusive Allie X has paired visuals with her synth-blaring single "Bitch", which features the Los Angeles-based artist casually perusing a 99-cent store. The video utilizes kaleidoscope-like and other eccentric effects that emit a largely 90's-era vibe. Read up more on Alexandra Ashley Hughes and the spontaneity that produced both the track and imagery in this interview, check out the video above, and/or download the track for free below.
