Jeremiah Jae, the Chicago rapper with an affinity for spitting over left-field beats, has just signed a deal with Warp. In accordance, Jae has dropped a quick 25-minute mixtape entitled Bad Jokes to mark the occasion. Flying Lotus has his hands in the production, among others, so you know this is a noteworthy release. Watch: The Underachievers - "The Proclamation"

Brooklyn-based duo The Underachievers have put out a video for their first single since turning heads with their Indigoism mixtape, which dropped earlier this year on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label. Fans of both Issa Dash and AK already know they can spit, and "The Proclamation" displays their rhyme-firing abilities over a prominent Stones sample (production by Nick Lewis). They also hint at a future EP collaboration between the duo and producer Lex Luger. Sounds good. [Directed by Yashana]
