Watch: Volcano Choir - "Byegone"

Justin Vernon's collaboration with post-rock outfit Collections of Colonies of Bees has produced a follow up to 2009's Unmap LP. Under Volcano Choir, the members are set to release their sophomore album in Repave come September 3rd, and have put out a video for the track "Byegone" in anticipation. While the Bon Iver frontman's duties with his respective band are currently on hold, he still displays his knack for creating tunes that please the ear on all fronts. He effortlessly illuminates over melodious riffs, bombastic drum beats and, while the weight his voice carries appears marginally less than that of a Bon Iver track, Vernon's delicate (yet contrastingly powerful) vocals are still the main attraction.
