Listen - Part Time - "Merchandise"

Listen: Children Of Pop - "Change For Love"

Children of Pop's "Change For Love" is strange, slightly abrasive, and an all-together endearing little tune that sounds straight from the 90s. It's an effortless jam track if we've ever heard one.

The Tampa post-punk outfit Merchandise are gearing up to release their After The End LP come August 25th, and there's no doubt that they sound grander than ever (as if they weren't grandiose enough). They've already released "Enemy", one of our favorite tracks of the year so far, and you can check out "Green Lady" above.

Listen: Salt Cathedral - "Holy Soul"

The Brooklyn-based trio Salt Cathedral garnered a lot of attention last year with the release of their self-titled EP, turning heads with their brooding guitar riffs and their sharp vocals. Understandably, the South American-bred rockers are still attempting to acquire a sound they are happy and comfortable with before they settle into a LP-making scenario, planning to release the upcoming Oom Velt EP this year as part of the process. Today they have released the single "Holy Soul", a track that constantly veers towards bursting magnificently, yet ultimately remains a reserved display of musicianship and control. There's a certain hypnotic rhythm to the way lead singer Juliana Ronderos laces repetition over the blooming instrumentation, almost inducing a trance-like-state by the time the chorus comes around a second time. Check it out below.

Listen: Wyatt - Wyatt EP

There are some gems on this little 5-track EP released by Wyatt earlier this week, who also happens to split time playing in Art of Sleeping and representing Brisbane trio MTNS as a manager. Clocking it at a length just over 13 minutes, Jarryd Shuker shows an affinity for matching his moody crooning with down-tempo and atmospheric soundscapes. In doing so, he effortlessly churns out made-for-night anthems epitomized in the opening track "Attention", which proves to be the project highlight. Check out the Wyatt EP below.
