Watch: Earl Sweatshirt - "Burgundy" (Jimmy Fallon)

Watch a focused Earl Sweat make his TV-debut on Fallon, performing the Pharrell-produced "Burgundy". Doris drops August 20th, but I'm sure you know that by now. Cop it here.

Watch: The Underachievers - "Land Of Lords" (KidSuper Lookbook 2013)

The visuals for Ak and Issa Dash's "Land Of Lords" (off the INDIGOI.S.M. mixtape) double as the lookbook for the KidSuper ICONIC 2013 line. Check it out above. [Directed by Sean Phazes]

Listen: Jon Hopkins + Purity Ring - "Breathe This Air"

Jon Hopkins' "Breathe This Air" has been given a facelift by Purity Ring's lovely Megan James. The cut, which originally stands out from Hopkins' Immunity LP, is reinvigorated by James' delicate, lifting voice. The remix will be given away free-of-charge via 12" at their August 27th/28th joint shows at Henry Fonda Theater.

8/5/13

Watch: CHVRCHES - "The Mother We Share"

CHVRCHES have put out the video for what is undoubtedly our favorite pre-LP track, "The Mother We Share" (which is of course the first single from the Glasgow trio's upcoming debut LP). The Bones Of What You Believe is out September 24th. [Directed by SJ Lee]

Watch: Animal Collective - "Monkey Riches"

Check the trippy video for Animal Collective's Centipede Hz standout, "Monkey Riches". [Directed by Jack Kubizine]

Listen: Tobias Jesso Jr. - "Just A Dream" (demo)

Inklings of a promising new project in Tobias Jesso Jr. The artist has been working with former Girls bassist and producer Chet "JR" White on his debut album, which is expected sometime in 2014. Today, we have a Tumblr and a demo from the two. If you want to jam this on piano yourself, go here. If not, just listen below.

7/30/13

Stream/Download: Jonwayne - Cassette 3: The Marion Morrison Mixtape

More good mixtape hip-hop, this time from Stones Throw-signed MC/producer Jonwayne. The Marion Morrison Mixtape is the third installment in the Cassette series that, to this point, has only been released via cassette tape (obviously). They decided to make this one free for download. The tape features prominent features from Captain Murphy, Oliver The 2nd, Zeroh, and Jeremiah Jae (hot off his own mixtape release/signing). Stream The Marion Morrison Mixtape and download it here. Additionally, you can purchase all three (scratch that, the first is out of order) on tape via Stones Throw.

Listen: The Weeknd - "Love In The Sky"

Amidst the ill-advised Portishead-sampling debauchery that was/is "Belong To The World", sensual artist The Weeknd has released another single from his forthcoming LP Kiss Land. Leave it to Abel to drop an absolute bomb despite all the controversy surrounding him. Of course, that has been the story of Tesfaye's career so far. No matter the polarizing and off-putting figure he might be, he is a master of the dark and sultry, and "Love In The Sky" encapsulates the atmospheric element that spearheaded his emergence. The outro is as enticing as it gets. Kiss Land is out September 10th.

Stream: Explosions In The Sky - Prince Avalanche (soundtrack)

The staple post-rock group Explosions In The Sky are streaming their contribution to the David Gordon Green-directed comedy entitled Prince Avalanche a week ahead of schedule. Don't expect the same score heard nine years ago as part of their work on Friday Night Lights; the sweeping crescendos are far and few on this one. Nevertheless, they are still able to make breathtaking compositions with ease. They are assisted by the adequate composer David Wingo. Check out the Prince Avalanche trailer below starring Paul Rudd, and stream the soundtrack in its entirety over at EW.

7/29/13

Listen/Download - Jeremiah Jae - Bad Jokes (mixtape)

Jeremiah Jae, the Chicago rapper with an affinity for spitting over left-field beats, has just signed a deal with Warp. In accordance, Jae has dropped a quick 25-minute mixtape entitled Bad Jokes to mark the occasion. Flying Lotus has his hands in the production, among others, so you know this is a noteworthy release. Listen to it below or download it here.

7/25/13

Watch: Volcano Choir - "Byegone"

Justin Vernon's collaboration with post-rock outfit Collections of Colonies of Bees has produced a follow up to 2009's Unmap LP. Under Volcano Choir, the members are set to release their sophomore album in Repave come September 3rd, and have put out a video for the track "Byegone" in anticipation. While the Bon Iver frontman's duties with his respective band are currently on hold, he still displays his knack for creating tunes that please the ear on all fronts. He effortlessly illuminates over melodious riffs, bombastic drum beats and, while the weight his voice carries appears marginally less than that of a Bon Iver track, Vernon's delicate (yet contrastingly powerful) vocals are still the main attraction. Check out the video for "Byegone" above. [Directed by Michinori Saigo]

Watch: Little Daylight - "Name In Lights"

Off Little Daylight's upcoming Tunnel Vision EP. [Directed by Eddy Vallante]

Listen: SBTRKT - "Girls Love Beyonce (edit)"

Check out the newest rework from electronic artist SBTRKT, who decides to tackle Drake's recently released Girls Love Beyonce. The cut is transformed into a jittery affair, as the rework builds around the original melody. What results is an instrumental occurrence in classic SBTRKT fashion. Listen to the rework below.

Listen: Yuck - "Rebirth"

90's revivalist band Yuck are gearing up to release a followup to their well received 2011 self titled debut later this year. The appropriately named "Rebirth" is the first track we have heard from the group since their first release, and it is done so without the aid of former frontman Daniel Blumberg. Nevertheless, vocals by Max Bloom help lend to a fuzzy bliss as the band appears to not have missed a beat in regards to encapsulating that shoegaze sound. You can download the track for free here.

7/16/13

Listen: Friendzone + Mykki Blanco - "WHO WANNA RUMBLE" + Outtake

Remember that sick track from collaborators Mykki Blanco and Friendzone? I'm referring to their contribution to the Adult Swim Singles collection, which came in the form of the free-to-download "WHO WANNA RUMBLE". Well, the two were apparently displeased with the mix used and decided to put out an updated and uncensored version of the cut. In addition to this, they have also made a studio outtake available for streaming/download entitled "Cameo". Listen to both of these below.

7/11/13

Watch: Young Fathers - "Queen Is Dead"

The alternative hip-hop group Young Fathers have put out accompanying visuals for their jarring Tape Two EP standout "Queen Is Dead". Check out the claustrophobic black and white footage above.

Listen: Sweet Valley - SV

The beat-eccentric duo of Wavves frontman Nathan Williams and his brother Kynan have put out a 12-track release free to stream/download via SoundCloud. Check out the bombastic SV below and download it here.

Listen: Joey Bada$$ - "Norwegian Breakfast"

As part of The Smokers Club's Oil:710 mixtape, rap-prodigy Joey Bada$$ has put out a track entitled "Norwegian Breakfast". The Brooklyn native drops some of his most introspective rhymes to date, lacing his ever-improving 90's flow with a smooth beat from Bagir. Check out the track above and be sure to download the tape.

Tracklist after the jump...

Listen: King Krule - "Easy Easy"

King Krule has finally released details of his anticipated debut album, which is entitled 6 Feet Beneath The Moon and will be out August 24th. More excitingly, he has put out the lead single for the LP. What Archy Marshall presents with "Easy Easy" is that familiar radiance of helplessness and loneliness that has come as a package throughout his short career. The undertones of Marshall's calculated guitar noodling help communicate a perpetual angst, one that is multiplied tenfold when paired with his low-brooding vocal delivery. Encouragingly, the artist's lyrical content and ability appears to be improving with each track. Check out the track list below, which features the breakout single and one of our favorite tracks from 2011 Out Getting Ribs.
6 Feet Beneath the Moon:
01 Easy Easy
02 Border Line
03 Has This Hit?
04 Foreign 2
05 Ceiling
06 Baby Blue
07 Cementality
08 A Lizard State
09 Will I Come
10 Ocean Bed
11 Neptune Estate
12 The Krockadile
13 Out Getting Ribs
14 Bathed in Grey

Listen: Holy Ghost! - "Teenagers In Heat" (co-produced by James Murphy)

Holy Ghost! are gearing up to release their sophomore album come September 10th, entitled  Dynamics. The album follows the duo's debut self-titled LP in 2011, which was warmly received. After putting out "Dumb Disco Ideas" back in May, a track co-produced by the great James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) that apparently didn't make the cut has circulated. "Teenagers In Heat" has undeniably been touched by Murphy, with a bouncing synth line that recalls something of the 80's. The song is appealingly light, as it breezes through at a floating pace. Unsurprisingly, Holy Ghost! give us another summer jam that begs to be played. Also, check out the track list for Dynamics below.

Dynamics:
01 Okay
02 Dumb Disco Ideas
03 Changing of the Guard
04 Dance a Little Closer
05 It Must Be the Weather
06 1 for Edgar
07 I Wanna Be Your Hand
08 Bridge and Tunnel
09 Don't Look Down
10 In the Red
11 Cheap Shots

7/8/13

Watch: Blue Hawaii - "Try To Be" (via Yours Truly)

Yours Truly has brought us a brilliant performance of Blue Hawaii's "Try To Be", which is off the duo's 2013 sophomore LP Untogether. The tune is barely recognizable in comparison to the album version, as the pacing and clutter of sounds are toned down quite a bit. What results is a beautiful rendition of an inspired track, being performed in an empty room mind you, that does nothing other than reach the audience.

7/7/13

Watch: The Underachievers - "The Proclamation"

Brooklyn-based duo The Underachievers have put out a video for their first single since turning heads with their Indigoism mixtape, which dropped earlier this year on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label. Fans of both Issa Dash and AK already know they can spit, and "The Proclamation" displays their rhyme-firing abilities over a prominent Stones sample (production by Nick Lewis). They also hint at a future EP collaboration between the duo and producer Lex Luger. Sounds good. [Directed by Yashana]

5/27/13

Listen: CHVRCHES - "Gun"

Check out the new single from Glasgow-native Chvrches, entitled "Gun". It's lavish, dancy pop that will undoubtedly be summer anthem worthy. The track will be out July 15 through Virgin/Goodbye digitally and on pink vinyl.

5/9/13

Listen: Four Tet - Beats In Space Mix

Four Tet's Kieran Hebden was recently on WYNU's Beats In Space, talking with Tim Sweeney about his current music happenings as well as lending a sick mix for listeners. Check out the full track list below, which features Atoms For Peace's remix of "Pyramid", among other great cuts. The mix picks back up at the 14:51 mark after the interview.

Watch: Janelle MonĂ¡e + Erykah Badu - "Q.U.E.E.N."

Check out the video for the impressive Janelle MonĂ¡e and Erykah Badu track "Q.U.E.E.N." The single was released last month as the first material off MonĂ¡e's  upcoming album The Electric Lady.

Listen: Marina and the Diamonds + Charli XCX - "Just Desserts"

Charli XCX is currently on tour in support of her recently released True Romance LP, with the dates including supporting shows for Marina and the Diamonds. Both have accordingly contributed to the release of "Just Desserts", a near four-minute collaboration between the two. The duo unsurprisingly blend their vocals over a menacing piano melody, coexisting on such a level that is worth marveling at. Stream and download the track below.

4/29/13

Listen: DOOM + Clams Casino - "Bookfiend"

An unexpected yet welcome collaboration between legendary rapper DOOM and spacious producer Clams Casino has surfaced. The track, entitled "Bookfiend", showcases DOOM's trademark awkward delivery, as he fills the utmost off-kilter pockets in Clams' beat. The cut will be featured on an as-yet unknown DOOM project via Lex Records. Check it out below.

4/28/13

Watch: Nicolas Jaar - Live Set At Boiler Room NYC

Nicolas Jaar recently played a set at NYC's Boiler Room as part of an RBMA x Clown & Sunset takeover. Next level stuff, as per usual. Check it out live above or listen to it below.

Watch: Disclosure + Eliza Doolittle - "You & Me"

Check out Disclosure's new video for their recent collaboration with Eliza Doolittle, which will appear on their upcoming and anticipated Settle LP come June 3rd.

4/21/13

Watch: Miguel + Kendrick Lamar - "How Many Drinks" (Remix)

via. [Directed by Clark Jackson]

Listen: Nicolas Jaar + Grizzly Bear - "Sleeping Ute" (Remix)

Nicolas Jaar's collaborative remix 12" was undoubtedly our favorite release of Record Store Day 2013. It included a rework of Grizzly Bear's "Sleeping Ute" as well as Brian Eno's "Lux". The former is drawn out to an eight-minute length with appropriate pace. Jaar's signature expansive and spaced out style is of note here. It sounds even better on vinyl, hopefully you had the chance to pick up the piece despite it being instantly sold out.

4/18/13

Listen: Koreless - "Sun"

Come May 20th, the always-extensive Koreless will release his debut EP in Yugen. "Sun" stems from the five-track project and is as sprawling and other-worldly as you would expect from the producer. The EP is out on Young Turks.

Watch: The Knife - "A Cherry On Top"

The Knife offer up some disconcerting and altogether indescribable images for the track "A Cherry On Top". How fitting. The cut is taken from the recently released Shaking The Habitual LP.

4/15/13

Listen: Portugal. The Man - "Purple Yellow Red And Blue"

Portugal. The Man's newest Evil Friends LP sees the production handled by the acclaimed Danger Mouse. Resulting is a grander piece, with "Purple Yellow Red And Blue" building upon a simple drum beat into a bursting work. Despite this, John Gourley's unique vocals still spearhead the track, which was first unveiled at the recent Coachella festival. Evil Friends is out June 4th.

4/12/13

Watch: Frank Ocean - "Lost"

Check out the stunning montage-styled music video for Frank Ocean's "Lost", our favorite track from last year's excellent channel ORANGE. [Directed by Francisco Soriano]

4/4/13

Listen: Joey Bada$$ - "Day In The Life"

As part of The New York Renaissance mixtape, Joey Bada$$ has put out a new track entitled "Day In The Life". The bars laid down here are as inspired as ever, with the prodigy dropping his golden-era delivery over a vintage, trumpet-sampling Harry Fraud beat. Check it out below and download the tape here.

Watch: Nicolas Jaar - "Noise"

There's a certain aspect to Nicolas Jaar's music that astounds listeners all over. He says it best himself: "If it has its own life, then it's really, really exciting." Jaar could not have described the beauty of his own production any better, with each minimalistic song beaming full of animation and existence. His partnership with The Avante/Garde Diaries produced a breathtaking clip of a man being engulfed by darkness. Unsurprisingly, Jaar is the choice artist to fit the mold of those images. Check out their excellent interview here.

4/3/13

Watch: Charli XCX - "What I Like"

[Directed by Ryan Andrews]

Watch: James Blake - "Voyeur"

Off James Blake's forthcoming Overgrown LP. [Directed by Tobias Revell/Ferry Gouw]

Listen: Little Daylight - "Name In Lights"

Brooklyn trio Little Daylight have released their second single in "Name In Lights". The cut is aired-out, dreamy, and calm. A contrasting down-tempo tune is not what was expected from the catchy synth-poppers, with their previously released "Overdose" being one of the most infectious songs heard this year. It shows a versatility that keeps listeners wanting more but, for now, these two tracks are all we have. Check out "Name In Lights" below.

Listen: Deerhunter - "Monomania"

Deerhunter have shared the title track off their upcoming Monomania LP, which is out May 6th of this year. The track is bat-shit crazy, with Bradford Cox and company tapping into their garage/noise rock capabilities. Eventually, it works up to a barely-discernable Cox repeating "Monomania" over and over again, with clamoring guitar chords backtracking. The band first debuted the cut on a raucous Fallon performance, which can be seen below.

4/1/13

Listen: Kastle + JMSN - "Make You Stay"

Kastle has put out the latest track from his upcoming LP and, thankfully, it is his much-anticipated collaboration with JMSN. Turned on to each other by Kastle's earlier remix of JMSN's "Alone", the two have recorded two cuts for the forthcoming LP. "Make You Stay" is constructed with that twisting and hazy production that complements JMSN's style so well. Off the atmosphere alone this could easily be his own track, which is not a bad thing. Check it out below and listen to the first single "Red Light" here.

Listen: Jessie Ware + A$AP Rocky - "Wildest Moments (Remix)"

The A$AP Rocky-featuring remix of Jessie Ware's "Wildest Moments" is set to be featured on the North American release (April 16th via Interscope) and the "Gold" UK edition (April 15th via PMR) of her 2012 debut Devotion. Rocky drops a few condensed bars here and you almost wish he would say more. Nonetheless, this is A$AP Rocky on a Jessie Ware track, which would make for a sick future collab. The rework will join the previously heard "Imagine It Was Us" on both editions mentioned above.

3/31/13

Listen: Classixx - "Holding On (Jerome LOL Remix)"

Classixx's budding single "Holding On" has been reworked by producer Jerome LOL. The once-thumping house track has been transformed into a perfectly timed and spaced out cut. What J-LOL manages to do here with his use of a few piano chords and his knowledge of strong structure is absolutely stunning. Check it out below.

3/27/13

Listen: Fyfe - "Lies"

London act Fyfe has just put out a new track from his upcoming Solace EP. Just as his previous singles have shown, the cut further builds on Paul Dixon's (formerly David's Lyre) developing knack for building attractive melodies around his vocals. His ability to create sonically interesting and varying soundscapes without overshadowing his delivery is particularly striking. As always, the lows are just as captivating as the highs. "Lies" can be streamed and downloaded below. Pre-order the Solace EP here, which is out April 7th.

Watch: Inc. - "Black Wings"

Off Inc.'s 2013 LP No World. [Directed by Andrew/Daniel/Ryan Kuhlman]

3/22/13

Listen: Schoolboy Q - "Yay Yay"

Schoolboy Q has recently confirmed that the next TDE affiliated release will be his own Oxymoron. In preparation, Q has put out a new cut in "Yay Yay". Admittedly, the track sounds infinitely cooler coming from Q's mouth rather than ours, with his added inflictions and whatnot. Nonetheless, the Boi-1da produced track is fire. Look for Oxymoron to drop within the next few months.

Watch: Captain Murphy - "The Killing Joke"

Peep the accordingly eery black-and-white clip for Captain Murphy's "The Killing Joke". Download the DUALITY mixtape here if you haven't already

Listen: Jessie Ware - "Imagine It Was Us"

Jessie Ware has just put out the newest track off her Gold Edition release of her 2012 debut Devotion. The bouncy Julio Bashmore-produced "Imagine It Was Us" will make up one of two new cuts, with the second being an added A$AP Rocky version of "Wildest Moments". Check out a radio rip of "Imagine It Was Us" below and get the Golden Edition April 15th.

Watch: CHVRCHES - "The Mother We Share" (Live @ SXSW)

3/20/13

Watch: J Dilla - Crate Diggers (Documentary)

Check out a 30 minute film about J Dilla's obsession with music, as part of Fuse's "Crate Diggers" series. A lot of the film centers around Dilla's notoriously vast record collection, which some pieces were recently found holed up in a storage unit. The clip features credited artists such as Talib Kweli and J. Rocc, as well as family members "Ma Dukes" and Illa J (brother).

3/19/13

Listen: Shlohmo + Jeremih - "Bo Peep (Do U Right)"

The next great collaboration as part of the Yours Truly "Songs From Scratch" series comes in the form of Shlohmo and Jeremih's "Bo Peep (Do U Right)". Jeremih unsurprisingly fits snugly with Shlohmo's production. If you thought a slick R&B melody would accompany a Shlohmo beat perfectly, you were spot on. Check it out below, as well as an accompanying video documenting their recording process.

3/14/13

Listen: James Blake - "And Holy Ghost"

Hear the blaring b-side for James Blake's Voyeur (Dub), which will be out soon on his 1-800-Dinosaur label. "And Holy Ghost" will not appear on Blake's anticipated Overgrown LP, yet it was streamed earlier today via Benji B's BBC Radio 1 set. Check out a radio rip below.

Listen: AlunaGeorge - "I Wanna Be Like You (Jungle Book Cover)"

More music from electronic duo AlunaGeorge. During their BBC Radio 1 visit earlier today, the pair dropped a snazzy cover of "I Wanna Be Like You" from the classic Jungle Book. The fuller sound is marvelous, transforming that familiar melody into a pristine, bouncy cut. Check the classy rework below.  [via]

3/13/13

Listen: Flatbush Zombies + The Underachievers - "No Religion"

Up and coming New York rap duos Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers have teamed up for the track "No Religion". Both have made waves for their gritty sounds, so it's no surprise that they gel together so well on a cut as grimy as this. Check it out below.

3/11/13

Watch: The Purist + Danny Brown - "Jealousy"

Danny Brown is the man. Please excuse our inner fanboy, but he absolutely demolishes The Purist's sinister soundscape. "Jealousy" will be on the London producer's TR-ILL EP.

Listen: Major Lazer + Ezra Koenig - "Jessica"

Check out a radio rip of Major Lazer's "Jessica" below, wich dominantly features Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig. This one is as laid back as ever, as Koenig soars over a hazy reggae beat. The track premiered as part of BBC Radio 1 under Annie Mac. You know we will be jamming Major Lazer's upcoming Free The Universe LP April 15. Also, check out "Watch Out For This (Bumaye)" from Lazer if you haven't already.

Listen: Four Tet - "For These Times"/"Suit & Tie (Remix)"

Today we were blessed with two tracks from electronic producer Kieran Hebden. He has put out a marvelous remix of Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie" as well as a cut entitled "For These Times" The rework plasters JT over a stripped down, thumping beat, showing us again that Four Tet remixes are top notch. "For These Times" is set to appear on Nonplus' Think And Change compilation. Hear both tracks below.

Watch: AlunaGeorge - "Attracting Flies"

[Directed by Emil Nava]

3/9/13

Listen: Kastle + Ayah Marar - "Red Light"

San Francisco native Kastle has released a preview of his debut album in "Red Light". It only seems natural to feature the London native vocalist Ayah Marar, as the track sounds like something off the budding UK house scene. There is no shortage of bass-driven dub soundscapes with Kastle, that's for sure. Check out his Ssense mix here if you haven't already, which features Ryan Hemsworth's "Summertime Sadness" remix.

3/8/13

Listen: TEEN - "Carolina"

Brooklyn-based psych-pop outfit TEEN are planning to release an EP this year in Carolina, and are asking fans to help out with kickstarter donation. They're almost at their $5,000 dollar goal. To spark motivation, the band has shared the title track, which can be heard below. The song lends itself to be poppier than heard previously from the group, yet their psychedelic breakdowns are definitely not missing. If you wish to support the band, head over to their kickstarter campaign page here. [via]

Watch: Phoenix - "Entertainment"

Bankrupt! is out April 22nd. [Directed by Patrick Daughters]

Listen: James Blake - Overgrown LP Preview

Peep the preview of James Blake's upcoming Overgrown LP. We've been getting tracks recently, but you can hear extended snippets of each cut in the above video. The record is out April 8th. [via]

3/7/13

Listen: Les Sins - "Grind/Prelims"

Chaz Bundwick (Toro Y Moi) is releasing a 12" later this month under his Les Sins project. You can hear both "Grind" and "Prelims" below. It seems Bundwick is inclined to lead with synths and bass with this release. We're not complaining.

Listen: James Blake - "Digital Lion"

James Blake's Overgrown is easily our most anticipated album of the year so far. With breathtaking single "Retrograde" already set to appear on the LP, Blake's 1-800-Dinosaur label has streamed another track. "Digital Lion" is a brooding, dark electronic piece with a lot of ambient and bass-filled space. This is expected, as Brian Eno is credited as collaborator. Check it out below. Overgrown is out April 8th.

3/6/13

Listen: Baths - "Miasma Sky"

The Los Angeles-based producer Will Weisenfeld has announced his newest LP under the Baths moniker. Sophomore full-length Obsidian will be out May 28 via Anticon and will feature lead single "Miasma Sky". Known for his glitchy, chill-wave cuts, "Miasma Sky" does not disappoint in those regards.

Listen: Danny Brown - "#HottestMC"

Danny Brown has dropped a singular track entitled "#HottestMC", perhaps taking shots at the annual "Hottest MC" countdown held via MTV. The Harry Fraud-produced cut features a deep-voiced Danny Brown, as he drops empowered lines such as "show respect, I'm the greatest" and "deserve a noble peace prize for what I recite". Brown tweeted "Fuck a top 10 list... nigga im the Greatest Rapper Ever", followed by a stream of rants aimed at MTV's list. "#HottestMC" will not be featured on his upcoming Oldie LP, but we can expect more of this Danny Brown in the future.

3/4/13

Listen: Lana Del Rey - "Summertime Sadness (Ryan Hemsworth Edit)"

Ryan Hemsworth has remixed the Lana Del Rey track "Summertime Sadness". Hemsworth tweaks the instrumentation into a dizzying affair, with a hazy Del Rey fronting the track. He has stated that an official audio clip is coming soon, but we have an almost-two minute preview to stream above. The haunting piece was apart of Kastle's Ssense mix, which can be heard in its entirety here.

3/3/13

Listen: Laura Stevenson & The Cans - "L-DOPA"

Laura Stevenson's newest album will be out April 23rd, entitled Wheel. We've already heard "Runner" from the record set to follow the excellent Sit Resist, and we now have the second track from the LP. "L-DOPA" is agonizingly steady, contrasting with the upbeat melodies and tunes heard on Sit Resist. Despite this, Stevenson still manages to hit home with her soaring and distinct vocals, giving us the impression that she could be singing over anything and still be sublime. Fortunately, this sort of downtempo instrumentation lends to Stevenson perfectly. Wheel is out on Don Giovanni Records. [via Stereogum]

3/1/13

Watch: Atoms For Peace - "Ingenue"

Hey look, Thom Yorke dancing. Not surprisingly, the video was choreographed and directed by the same team responsible for Radiohead's "Lotus Flower", which is similar in content. Check out the video for "Ingenue" above.

2/26/13

Listen - AlunaGeorge - "Attracting Flies"

Hot off their excellent collab with Disclosure, AlunaGeorge have released the first track to appear on their debut LP Body Music. "Attracting Flies" features Francis' delicate vocals over slick production, courtesy of partner George Reid. The duo have made huge waves to this point, and the single only shows more to come. Listen to "Attracting Flies" below, which will be released as a single March 10th along with remixes from Baauer, among others.

Listen: Major Lazer - "Watch Out For This (Bumaye)"

Major Lazer have unfortunately pushed back the release date for their Free The Universe LP, which should've been out February 19th. No word on a release date, only a statement from Diplo and company apologizing for the "hiccup". However, they have shared a new track entitled "Watch Out For This (Bumaye)" [ft. Busy Signal, The Flexigan & FS Green]. Check out the bass-driven banger below.
