Thanks to another great rapper/producer pairing by FADER'S X Squared series, Clams Casino has remixed K.R.I.T.'s "Moon & Stars". Rather than being another spacious affair, Clams Casino strays away from his trademark hazy production to lay the southern rapper over a smooth, soulful beat. Hear it below:

Youth Lagoon: "Goodbye Again" (John Denver Cover)

Trevor Powers, better known as Youth Lagoon, stopped by the Sirius XMU studios to play a few songs. This includes Youth Lagoon's take on John Denver's "Goodbye Again". In true Youth Lagoon fashion, the cover features warm, reverb-ladened instrumentals. His voice sounds noticeable clearer than on 2011's The Year Of Hibernation, which comes as quite a surprise. What is not shocking is how well this track works. Hear the cover below (via Disco Naivete)

Listen: Common - "The Believer" (feat. John Legend)

Common has put out the title track for his upcoming album The Dreamer, The Believer. Judging from the previously released singles, this is shaping up to be a great album. Sadly with a late release (December 20th), Common will likely be snubbed come grammy time and miss most year-end lists. Nonetheless, the forthcoming album could possibly belong in both those categories. Hear "The Believer" below, featuring a soulful hook by John Legend.

Kendrick Lamar - "Rigamortus" (Busta Rhymes Remix)

"Rigamortus" showcases Kendrick Lamar's lyrical zenith on 2011 debut Section .80. Here, Busta Rhymes lays a verse down to compliment Lamar. This pairing seems great on paper; if anyone can match Lamar's speed and flow it would be Busta. Hear the remix below.

More Radiohead remixes have hit the web today. Three new tracks that were not featured on TKOL RMX 1234567 can be heard through various media outlets. The ever-mysterious WU LYF have released the music video for "We Bros", a standout track from their ambitious debut Go Tell Fire To The Mountains. The Black Keys - "Run Right Back"

The Black Key's newest release, "Run Right Back" premiered earlier today via BBC Radio 1. While they seemingly move farther and farther away from their core raw, bluesy sound with each release, this is still unmistakably music from The Black Keys. "Run Right Back" is set to be on the December 6th release of El Camino, as well as the b-side to the "Lonely Boy" 12".

The Weeknd/Illangelo Remix Lady Gaga's 'Marry The Night'

The anticipated remix of Lady Gaga's 'Marry The Night' by mysterious R&B phenomenon The Weeknd has been put out. No surprises here, we are treated with the signature style we've come to know and love with The Weeknd. This rework is a triumph in every way, transforming the pop star's original number into an atmospheric treat. The remix rides percussion repetitively with Lady Gaga's vocals laid over until the 2:20 mark. With respects to the first half of the song, the song imploding on itself sucks you into a whole other world. Drizzled with a simple progression and trademark moans from Abel Tesfaye, Lady Gaga's anthemic chants of "Marry The Night" adds another skin-crawling moment in The Weeknd's young career.

The Weeknd can be heard on Drake's upcoming album Take Care and his anticipated final mix tape, which is to be released later this year. If this track leaves you wanting more, be sure to check out his recent remix of Florence and the Machine's 'Shake It Out'.

Yorke, Greenwood, and DOOM: 'Retarded Frens'

Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) - On Time Spent Waiting

While I had previously given this EP a few spins beforehand with minimal impression, it is has come around since the October 12th release. Those familiar with their past work are already used to the unique vocals and meaningful lyrics, but others might need time to set in. This was the case for me at least, as this release really hit me hard after repeat listens. While not perfect, or even on the same level as their debut full-length, this EP easily contains enough material to hold your interest throughout. Clocking in at just over ten minutes, this is without a doubt worth your time. Listen

Stream: Freddie Gibbs - Cold Day in Hell (Mixtape)

M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming (Double Album)

How do I describe 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'? The much anticipated, three years
in-the-making double LP from M83 produces many awe inspiring moments. The general sense of grandiose is present throughout the album, seen in standout songs such as 'Midnight City' and 'Intro (Feat. Zola Jesus)'. 'Hurry Up' is anything but a perfect album though, the large run time does make this a slight chore to listen to. Despite this, the many epic moments featured easily outweigh the cons. This is electronic dream pop done right.

New Nas Video. Also, Bitch Suck Dick

Long-time MC Nasir Jones has released the music video for 'Nasty', the newest single from the often-acclaimed greatest lyricist of all time. There has been no given release date for Life is Good (name subject to change), but it has been confirmed to feature longtime friend AZ. Will we get another Life's A Bitch? I'm sorry, you can't expect me to write a post about Nas without referencing the classic Illmatic. Other confirmed features include OFWGKTA members Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, and Hodgy Beats

On a side note, if you are interested in seeing the music video for Tyler's 'Bitch Suck Dick', you can do so via the odd future site. Be warned though, this isn't as brilliant as the breakout video for Yonkers. The video is pretty much a joke, but that's how OF works. If anything, it's worth watching for a few laughs.
