I happened to stumble upon two separate acoustic renditions done by Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull. Via his Tumblr, Hull posted his own take on The Weakerthan's "A Plea From A Cat Named Virtute" followed by posting a second cover of "Virtute The Cat Explains Her Departure" the next day. Hearing Hull's fervent vocals placed over a simple acoustic piece bleeds nothing but Right Away, Great Captain! Fans of RAGC!, Hull's solo venture, will find delight in these two pieces. Hull also stated this: "Lots and lots of RAGC news, release date, track listing, blaaaaaaa coming very soon." Of course, this was in reference to the upcoming The Church Of The Good Thief, Hull's third release under the RAGC! moniker. Listen to the Hull covers below.
